SplitMath ("we", "us") provides a free calculator for splitting shared expenses. This page explains what happens to your information when you use the site.

No accounts, no server storage

SplitMath does not require you to create an account, and the calculator does not save your expenses, names, or income figures to a server. All calculations happen directly in your browser and are cleared when you close or refresh the page.

What we don't collect

• We do not ask for your name, email, or payment information to use the calculator.
• We do not store the amounts, people, or splits you enter.
• We do not sell personal data, because we don't collect any through the calculator.

Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand overall site traffic (such as which pages are visited). This does not include the contents of any split you calculate.

Cookies

SplitMath does not use cookies to track individuals across the web. Any cookies used are limited to basic site functionality.

Sharing features

If you use the "Share result" or "Copy summary" buttons, the text you choose to share or copy is generated locally in your browser. What you do with that text — sending it in a message, printing it, or posting it — is up to you.

We may update this policy as SplitMath adds new features. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
